In order to study the lineaments of the region of Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, we used two Landsat TM images. Our methods is based on two principal techniques. The first is the principal component analysis (PCA), while the second is treated on the use of directional filters 0 °, 45 °, 90 ° and 135 °. The statistical analysis shows a breakdown by four families of orientation NS, NE-SW, EW, SE-NW. Lineaments obtained by the two methods are combined to give the total lineaments of the region and then analyzed according to directions and length by analyzing their lengths, their directions and orientations. The influence of these lineaments on the flow will be studied.
