The following events will take place during the week of the Symposium:

 

Social events

Monday 9 September: Welcome event at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre

Tuesday to Thursday: Poster session refreshments

Wednesday 11 September: Cocktail in the National Museum of Scotland

 

Tutorials

Tutorials will be taught on Monday 9 September from 8:00 to 9:30, prior to the start of the conference. The following table displays title and lecturer. Participation is restricted to registered applicants. If you are interested in attending, please indicate this in the relevant section of the registration form.

  School Laboratory

The Living Planet Symposium School Lab will host experiments, demonstrations and computer exercises, jointly organised by ESA, UKSA and DLR, with the aim of teaching students and teachers the science and technology behind satellite Earth Observation. Sessions of around 15 participants will be held with a duration of 2.5 hours. Separate sessions will be provided both for students (upper secondary and college level) and educators (teachers and STEM ambassadors).
